1. Plan your day before it actually starts
http://projectlifemastery.com |
You need to figure out how it's going to be and what you are really going to accomplish. Decide one night before going to bed, what all you are going to the next day. It will save a lot of time for you. If you have a bigger goal to accomplish which require months or may be years, break them down into smaller & manageable goals. This will allow you to make progress everyday.

Some people might think that managing time is a waste of time. They just want to go with the flow of nature. It is certainly correct to flow with time but when you have goals to achieve, you need to push things a bit. It can be really crucial for you when you have to deal with lot of stuff at hand. Going college, work, giving time to family, colleagues, friends, weekend plans, shopping, extra-curricular. If you really want to be successful you have to prioritize things each day in your life. This is as important as eating your breakfast. Identify things which are important, prioritize them and allocate time accordingly. It can be a pain sometimes to really prioritize things and allocating adequate amount of time.

4. Have power naps

A power nap is a short sleep which terminates before the occurrence of deep sleep or slow-wave sleep (SWS), intended to quickly revitalize the subject. It is simple yet powerful. Waking up 6 am in the morning and working all day can make you exhausted. Having naps of 20-25 min. will restore your energy you need for the rest of the day.
You can have a power nap in the afternoon or whenever you feel tired and stressed out.5. Meditate
Meditate every day for about 20-30 min. It will make your body calm and brings you in the present moment. In meditation, we are in a state of restful alertness that is extremely refreshing for the body and mind. As people stick with their meditation ritual, they notice that they are able to accomplish more while doing less. Instead of struggling so hard to achieve goals, they spend more and more time “in the flow” – aligned with universal intelligence that orchestrates everything.
6. Exercise

The
top morning activity of the rich and powerful seems to be exercise, be
it lifting weights at home or going to the gym. According to Vanderkam,
Xerox CEO Ursula Burns schedules an hour-long personal training session
starting at 6 a.m. twice a week; Christie's CEO Steve Murphy uses the
mornings to do yoga; and Starwood Hotels CEO Frits van Paasschen runs
for an hour every morning starting at 5:30.
“These are incredibly busy people,” says Vanderkam. “If they make time to exercise, it must be important.”
Beyond
the fact that exercising in the morning means they can’t later run out
of time, Vanderkam says a pre-breakfast workout helps reduce stress
later in the day, counteracts the effects of high-fat diet, and improves
sleep.
